Your Unique Knowledge Role In The Human Knowledge Destiny

diversity

Each person has a unique knowledge role in life. Don’t waste your time and tears trying to gain knowledge to be like someone else. Be proud of your own knowledge – no matter how “limited” it may seem at anytime. But reach further for knowledge, share your own knowledge, and learn from the knowledge of others to make something better for yourself, as yourself.

Yet, don’t stop there.

Combine your unique knowledge – no matter where you are in life – to create new knowledge with others. It’s then that you will find the knowledge role you are meant to have in life – as we all strive together to reach our overall human knowledge destiny to make this world a better place.

I’ve known so many people who have pursued things in life that seemed so far away from whom they are as people because someone else told them their knowledge wasn’t “good enough.” It becomes sad. Or other people who have simply given up. I’ve seen people who have wonderful knowledge filled with personal life experiences – tragic and successful – who try hard to become “more intelligent” because they believe the current knowledge they have has absolutely no value.

Then there are others who try to use their knowledge simply because they selfishly want to make a lot of money.  Sharing knowledge can make people wealthier, but is this type of knowledge sharing contributing to making the world a better place for everyone? Knowledge is being used as a human commodity not a human commonality.

It’s a great challenge to uncover our authentic selves and to develop confidence in our own knowledge through our own unique life experiences that reflects our own authenticity.

The uniqueness and authenticity of your personal knowledge are some of the most important things to recognize on your life journey to become the person you were born to be.  It’s easy to pursue things we think would make us “more knowledgeable” like other people, or pursue knowledge strictly for financial profit. But not recognizing the value of our own knowledge – here and now – does not reflect who we are as an authentic person, as each of us has authentic knowledge.

Unfortunately, I’ve spent time in my life trying to become some things that I thought others wanted me to be, and that I simply wasn’t meant to be.  And I spent time in the past thinking my knowledge had no value. While I don’t fully regret the time I spent trying to fulfill the expectations of others – as it has contributed to my life experience and the knowledge I have now – I sometimes wonder what I could have done for myself had I spent that time trying to gain knowledge strictly for myself, while also valuing my own knowledge.

We all have our strengths and our weaknesses, and it’s a shame when we spend valuable time and energy on trying to be what others expect us to be by focusing on our knowledge “weaknesses” and devaluing our unique knowledge experiences.  When we’re able to focus on the unique contributions to knowledge that each of us can make in life, we accomplish more and grow more in the knowledge role we are meant to have in life – And it’s in the personal recognition of the value of our own knowledge that we can then connect to our overall human knowledge destiny on this planet.

Never Regard Sharing Knowledge As Something Only “Intellectuals” Can Do

Never regard sharing knowledge as something only “intellectuals” can do. Sharing knowledge – for anyone – is a daily opportunity to influence and contribute to the knowledge of the world if we share knowledge with the intention of social benefit.

Sharing knowledge is not just about sharing knowledge from our minds – it’s also about sharing knowledge from our hearts. We can all contribute to social benefit by sharing knowledge from our own personal experiences. When we share knowledge for social benefit our own communities benefit and – in turn – the greater community of humanity can benefit, making the world a better place.

Why do we have a tendency to ignore the value of sharing our own knowledge? During our years of education, most of us learn the value of sharing more formal or academic knowledge. We read, we write. But in our everyday lives we also have opportunities to share informal knowledge about life experiences that can literally change our lives – and the lives of others. By sharing knowledge and being open to the knowledge of others we can open up channels for creating new knowledge, broadening our perspectives – making all of us happier and healthier people on this earth.

When we share knowledge, we see further into the depths of the diversity of life experiences and knowledge on this planet. Seeing the possibilities from knowledge sharing can help us recognize the inherent value of each person’s existence, and help us realize the amazing way that people in our universe exist and grow and change. Seeing another human being is an incredible experience if we open our eyes up to understand how every human being has knowledge to share – regardless of complexity or simplicity.

It’s how we combine our knowledge that will make us all better people.

Sharing knowledge pulls us out of our limited perspectives and takes us into another world in which the “impossible challenges” and wicked problems can become one step closer to being solved.

Sharing knowledge can sometimes be the bare minimum of commenting on how we identify with another person’s experience through our own. Whatever effort we put into sharing knowledge will definitely pay all of us back dividends if we do so as a way to make the world a better place.

Knowledge For Good

When I think of my past and all the knowledge I have acquired, I try to focus on turning all the knowledge I have acquired into knowledge for good – into valuable knowledge – and try to continue to use this knowledge for good for the benefit of others to make this world a better place.  To me knowledge of life and all of our individual experiences are found in the words: whatever you do, don’t let your own individual knowledge go to waste. Keep using it to make the world a better place.

So, I try to keep thinking of the knowledge that I have already acquired and the life experiences I have shared with others and gained from others, and what is still yet to come.

There is an awful lot of good knowledge in the world.   In all of our lives, there have been many, many good experiences.  But, I could also make a very long list of all the bad things that have happened in my life as well. What do I do with this knowledge? Do I simply forget it or try to repress it away in my memory, or let it fester inside me with anger – or do I try to turn this knowledge into knowledge for good? I’ve learned from my negative experiences, and I’ve learned to turn them into knowledge for good.  This allows me to use my individual knowledge to help others in my life – and in the world. I turn this individual knowledge into knowledge for good because I’m not constantly dwelling on the negative as a victim. I grew up in a family with alcoholic and dysfunctional parents who abused me and inflicted many physical and psychological scars. I could have remained a victim all my life, ruled by the external and internal voices that said I was stupid and worthless. But thanks to the knowledge of others, I grew to recognize my own worth and intelligence – and recognize even the value of such negative experiences in my life – by turning this knowledge into knowledge for good.

There are many unfortunate people and experiences in the world, people unable or unwilling to leave behind the negative things – the hurtful things that have happened to them in their lives – and use this knowledge for good.  The hurtful and negative things of the past continue to drag them down and make them bitter, negative and hurtful to others and to themselves. Unless we can turn this painful knowledge into knowledge for good, such knowledge will always hold these people back. This knowledge will continue to hurt them until they can focus on turning all of their individual knowledge into knowledge for good. Everyone can turn their knowledge and life experiences into knowledge for good. Remember, no experience is a negative experience unless you gain nothing from it and don’t share these experiences as something to make your life and the world a better place.
