    Brainstorming is very important for generating new knowledge because it allows for different perspectives and must inherently engage knowledge exchange methods. As such brainstorming is an important element of knowledge mobilization.

    Thanks for your comment. Yes, brainstorming is an important element of knowledge mobilization. Brainstorming provides the foundational stage of knowledge development and movement. Far too often the important aspect of brainstorming is ignored when approaching a problem to solve. A brainstorming approach that incorporates ANY ideas – no matter how strange or unconnected – can create a new perspective that allows for knowledge growth.
