Knowledge Mobilization (KMb): Multiple Contributions & Multi-Production Of New Knowledge

A Mind Of Beneficial Knowledge

I consider a mind of beneficial knowledge as one which is not passively influenced by outward circumstances and prejudice, and not easily swayed by the deluge of data noise that can consume us every day.  An individual mind of beneficial knowledge is always striving towards improving one’s own knowledge, and acting from an inward confidence in one’s own capabilities and personal knowledge that comes from one’s own life experience – to make the world we live in a better place for everyone.

Do you consider your mind of beneficial knowledge?  Are you able to use your own knowledge to see goodness in every person’s knowledge – or at least see goodness in each person?  Or does someone else’s prejudice determine your own knowledge and how you see yourself?

I think the purpose of our life experiences is to help us to learn to develop our own knowledge and recognize the same in others.  Yes, things happen, and many bad things happen to us and to those we love.  But when we finally reach a point at which we trust in our own knowledge and respect others for their own knowledge we are closer to becoming the collective people we were meant to be here on this earth.  When we constantly use negative criticism to knock down other people’s experiences – we are also knocking down their knowledge.

Yes, it’s sometimes difficult to be open-minded to another’s point-of-view and knowledge.  It sometimes takes effort to learn from others rather than think our “truth” is “true knowledge”.  It takes courage and commitment to devote ourselves to being open to new and different knowledge –  that will ultimately allow us to live freely and lovingly and respectfully with every person in society. As each person in society is diverse – knowledge is diverse on this earth.

Knowledge flows, knowledge moves and knowledge is constantly changing as we all are changing.  Nothing stays the same – including knowledge.  Part of our purpose while we’re here on this earth is to recognize our diversity – including our diversity of knowledge – and sharing and learning from this diversity of knowledge each day. Each day is a possibility for knowledge mobilization to create a better world.
