Knowledge Mobilization (KMb): Multiple Contributions & Multi-Production Of New Knowledge

Sharing Knowledge As The Greatest Value Of All

I believe that the sign of a truly great person is his or her use of knowledge – no matter how extensive or limited – to make the world a better place.  I don’t mean knowledge that is necessarily from an academic degree. But rather, people who have a feeling that the knowledge they have through life experience – techniques, ideas, inspirations, how-to’s, thoughts, skills and points of view – can be used for good and not harm for making the world a better place.  And they see this knowledge in every other person – and the possibility of sharing such knowledge with every other person for social benefit.

One of my great goals in life is to bring greater awareness to knowledge mobilization (KMb) – sharing knowledge and creating new knowledge for social benefit.  I feel that if I’m able to share my knowledge and learn from the knowledge of others to make the world a better place, my life will become much easier, and such knowledge sharing can begin to contribute to greater understanding worldwide. If I truly value knowledge, I will see the incredible value of knowledge in every single person that I meet, no matter what their current state, position or academic standing in life.  If I’m able to see this, I can be a much more effective knowledge mobilizer, and I can help people see the value of their own knowledge – believing in it and sharing it to make the world a better place.

Since I find sharing knowledge and receiving knowledge to be so important, I try to remind myself constantly that every moment is an opportunity for knowledge sharing to make the world a better place.

If I don’t take opportunities to seek out the knowledge of others and only take credit for the knowledge I share in my life, then I really have no chance at making the world a better place.  I also have little chance of being able to help other people see the value of sharing their own knowledge and understand the importance of sharing this knowledge for greater benefit.  One of the most important aspects of our collective humanity is that we all have some knowledge to share – it’s how we share it for good or harm that makes the difference. Knowledge sharing or knowledge mobilization (KMb) is a key that opens up greater opportunities for this world on an extremely valuable level – for sharing knowledge to make the world a better place is the greatest value of all.
